Term 3 Reflections

This term has been great because there has been speeches and film festival but the best of all was the bike track finished. Why the bike track was the best because you could zoom around the bike track dodging little kids and getting air on jumps and it gave me something to do at playtimes but with it came kids falling off and hurting themselves.




Bowls was awesome because it meant no school work and it was nice to meet Vern and Heather who help run bowls. Bowls was fun because it's a good game to play with friends, and we learned good skills and how to play bowls and they are picking 4 people to play in a tournament.





I have made good progress in my reading I have gone up two levels and I have been reading at home. In my maths, I have gone up 1 level in my basic facts test and now I am on level 7 I think by the next test I could complete this level. Writing we have done a lot of writing and I have been writing speeches and free writing at home.





Jump jam we have tried this new thing is on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I like Jump jam because it’s a good thing to start the day and its fun and it’s to get you moving and it’s better than doing the 4js run. It is a run to 4js and back it's 2.5 k and its so boring. My favourite jump jam has been boom shak laka.




We had a speech comp and you had to write a speech and present and you would go to the school speech finals. 14 people made it and I was one of them. It was really fun because you learned how to write a speech and good speaking skills. I did very well and my speech was on technology the good and bad.





We did something new. It was the film festival me Mark Brayden and Reid, we worked really well and our film is about a bank robbery. We used my GoPro but we had to voice over it because you could not hear us. We use wevideo to make our video I highly recommend it.here is our video.





This term I have liked the best because there has been new stuff I have tried Iike asb netball 1-day tournament and I liked it. I hope we do some history hope next term is better than this term.
