learning to type isn't more important that handwiriting.

People think typing is more important than handwriting. But in my opinion, handwriting is more important than typing for these reasons stated.




Handwriting is more important than typing because if you get a job for doing the paperwork your handwriting will be unreadable and it makes your company look dreadful like and a and people won’t want to bye of you. If you learn to type and you need to write a letter it would look like a little kid writing and it would have mistakes.





Typing is only used for computers were handwriting can help with art writing on paper, it is faster than getting your computer out and having to charge it. You have to worry about saving it and when you right on paper it’s smoother and quicker to write and you don’t have to save it.Writing on paper is a good exercise for your wrists and your brain.





When you write on paper the words that you spell wrong it does not go red and when you learn a new word you process when you write on paper. When you write a word on your computer and you get it wrong it goes red like blood, when you correct a word you don’t process it and you keep getting it wrong.





In my opinion, I reckon learning to type isn't more important to learn to handwrite. Changed your opinion towards learning to type isn't more important than handwriting. Do you like writing on paper and why?

All students should not have tablet or a laptop

All students should not have a tablet or a laptop at school




Most people’s opinion is that all students should have a tablet at school. In my opinion, I think tablets and laptops should be not compulsory at school, here are some reasons that will change your opinion.




Students don't need tablets and laptops at school because most students at home spend a lot of hours on devices at home, and it good to socialize at school and good to make friends. When you spend a lot of time on devices you can get lazy and it is enjoyable to go out on your bike or do something outside.




Most kids have bad handwriting at school and it can teach bad habits and if you write in your book you can help you write words that you have trouble writing and its good skill to know how to use a dictionary. When you start writing on your computer you have to worry about how much charge, was when you can just get your book out and start writing.




When you are on your devices you can easily get off task and it is hard to control what you do online and you can search inappropriate stuff online and you can send bad emails to people. People can not afford 3 to 4 kids to get a laptop or a tablet for school.




In my opinion, I think that laptop and tablets should not compulsory at school hopefully I have changed your opinion towards laptops at school. Do you have a computer or a tablet and why?

Were am I

In the summer the camping ground is cramped, The stores are filled to the brim and the boat ramp is overflowing there are no parks for miles. I smell the freshly cut grass and the whiff of fish and chips and sunscreen. I hear sausages sunbathing on a bbq and boats crashing through the waves and neighbors in their spa joking and having a good time. But when it comes to winter its a ghost town - no one on the road. It's a horrible place to be in the winter.

To make a game I had to think of a game. How I learnt the game is one of my teachers played it with the class. It was challenging writing the instructions down clearly.

  Bases

The aim is to get more points than the other team, by running around the bases.

Equipment:  You need 1 hacky sack, 2 or more people to play and you will need 3 bases.   

How to play:

Step 1 You need two equal teams one fielding and one team throwing the hacky sack.

Step 2  The team that is Feilding go and spread out where you are playing.

Step 3 The team throwing, throw the ball and run around the bases. The team that is fielding, if they catch it on the fall, you are out and if you  chuck the hacky sack and it hits the team that is running around the bases then you're out.

Step 4 Then if all of your team has all thrown. You swap over with the team that is fielding and so on.

WALT:  GOAL capital letters

I want to explain why Paroa School is the best school in Greymouth.

My main reason is because we have a pool ,2 playgrounds and a field our pool has some parents that clean it so we can learn to swim.

Another reason is. We have got 2 playgrounds for year  1-3 and 4-8 .This is  so the little kids don't get hurt.  It is really fun to play on it   because there is a windy slide.

Also our school has a brilliant things to do at paroa school

we have a school song made by the school with mir m playing the guitar  this song is about our school mir m started  it and we improved the songs  we listen to at assembly.

We have Turkana teina that is when a big kid buddy up with  a little kid they  help each other on Friday .We help them on their work and if they need help.

Paroa school has a library   we have a librarians hir  name is Catlin she  looks after the books. I really  paroa school because everyone is nice.        

Recount Planning/Writing camp

On Thursday I got up at 6.oo  because I had camp. We all had a meeting about camp I went with Julie . At Okarito we had a steep walk it was tiring.It took us to a lookout point we could hear a kea and it had some trees. When we got back we had some food.Then we had to drive to Fox Glacier.Then at Fox Glacier and we had to do  3 hour work up the glacier it was soooo long me and some people tried to find a quartz crystal.When we got back my legs were stuffed.After we unpacked then me zoe liam reid played pokemon card. I had Zados it was fun.I was sleeping  with Brayden and Cooper and the parent Andre.My group was on dinner set up. After I did that I got in shower.Then we had  burgers and chips. After we had a disco we played some games .then it was bed time.The next day I got up and had breakfast .Then we packed the car then we went to the kiwi  centre. We saw 2 kiwi they were rowi.Next we went to the hot pools I like hot pool. Then we went back to school.I like camp sooo much.

 I stood   in the 1500 meters.  I stood  on the starting block.I heard people cheering for new Zealand . I saw the Ethiopians getting ready to race.  I saw the others centres trying to get a medal. But I was too fast for the Ethiopians .When the race was finished I stood on the podium with two Ethiopians I felt happy and proud.  I wondered if  my country got the most medals I wondered if my family was proud and happy and I wondered if  my flag would go up in the air.
